SPITI VALLEY — 6-Day Budget Trip 🏔️
Day 1 – Shimla/Kalka → Reckong Peo/Kalpa
Day 2 – Kalpa → Nako → Tabo (monastery)
Day 3 – Tabo → Dhankar → Pin Valley
Day 4 – Kaza base: Key Monastery, Kibber, Chicham bridge
Day 5 – Langza, Komic, Hikkim (world’s highest post office)
Day 6 – Kaza → Chandratal → Manali (if road open)

Travel tips
- Go the Shimla side up and Manali side down to acclimatise gradually to the altitude.
- Homestays are cheap, warm and often include dinner and breakfast — book on arrival.
- Carry cash — ATMs are scarce and unreliable beyond Reckong Peo and Kaza.
- Season is roughly Jun–Sep; the Kunzum Pass (Manali side) stays snow-blocked otherwise.
